EKP V – Panel-Mounted and Portable by Design
The AvMap EKP V is engineered to function seamlessly as both a cockpit-installed instrument and a portable aviation GPS. Even when mounted in the panel, the unit can be quickly removed and used independently with its internal rechargeable battery for database updates, flight planning, training, or post-flight debriefing.
Depending on your installation preference, the EKP V can be integrated using either the Cockpit Docking Station or the Cockpit Cradle Kit, allowing flexibility across different aircraft types and operational needs.
Advanced Navigation Technology
Built on more than three decades of moving-map and aviation navigation expertise, the EKP V combines navigation, electronic flight bag functionality, and flight display capabilities in a single, compact unit.
The AvMap software platform delivers powerful flight planning tools, clear situational awareness, and intuitive shortcuts designed to support pilots during both normal operations and high-workload or emergency situations.

More Than a Moving Map – A True Multifunction Display
When installed via the Cockpit Docking Station, the EKP V becomes the central display hub for a wide range of onboard systems. It supports integration with the AvMap A2 ADAHRS module, compatible autopilots, weather receivers, crew alerting systems, video inputs, and additional avionics, creating a comprehensive flight information solution within a single display.
Primary Flight Display Capability on a 7″ Display
When connected to the A2 ADAHRS module, the EKP V transforms into a fully functional Primary Flight Display, presenting essential flight and attitude data clearly on its bright 7-inch screen.
